Nothing wrong with television. I know from experience that television has its uses. But in my mind, here, Forsman & Bodenfors spend top dollar to pull people into a site without making it an investment in search equity. This site does not need to be in Flash in the first place. It doesn't make sense.

If this would have been a conscious design decision (which luckily it was not, I've talked to them), they should have been prosecuted for embezzlement of the clients ad budget. It's just criminally wasteful. Doing the same thing out of ignorance tattoos a big question mark on their credibility as communications experts. Not sure which is worse or more expensive.

I think you are being a bit harsh against the church :)

No doubt that they should improve their Flash content and create a non-flash version to open it up to search engines. But I don't see why a TV campaign would be such a bad idea here. In my opinion such a campaign is the most optimal way for them to get their product out to their specific audience. I don't see how otherwise thousands of landing pages with their content (prayers) would bring in relevant traffic to their site and help it grow. A TV campaign aimed at the masses, however, does just that.

Still think "the fun theory" is a nice little idea, but for the rest, you've got my full support. And shame on Epica's jury. I would feel it's nothing short of a scandal if i hadn't lost my faith in all this "award"-self-indulgence-BS a long time ago.

Anyway, good thing you did not call your award "golden balls". Think of how the trophy would look like...
