An golden email appeared in my inbox yesterday. Subject: “An invitation to Google Wave Developer Sandbox”. I ran down to the local 7-Eleven to pick up some potato chips and Jolt Cola only to realize upon getting back that the link in the email led to a form, and that it’s going to take another few days before I get the actual sandbox account. Mijau! Frustration! Instead I went and had dinner with my grandma.
Let me know when you get your accounts, and we’ll make figuring this baby out a collaborative effort. Can’t remember being this excited about something for a WHILE. Vacation is officially over.

hi, congratulations on getting the invite!! by any chance did you get invites to send out? Could i get one if there are? I am about excited as i was when i first got my gmail account back in 2004!

So do you finally have your account? How is it? I am awaiting an invite from someone with the magical 8 accounts etc.
I was impressed by the demo itself but I feel like it won't be useful as a standalone. It could do wonders in say a Wordpress environment though. Real time chat on your website instead of say using forum software?
Waves could be your forums instead of using a database driven technology.
