Can anyone explain to me why iGoogle is called iGoogle? Isn’t Googles prefix “g”, and not “i”? Why don’t they name things congruently?
I honestly don’t get it. Google Docs, Google Earth, Gmail, iGoogle. Choose one and be consistent: gDocs, gWorld, gMail and… gSpot, or whatever. But pick one.
Google makes me think of Julia Roberts’ line in Pretty Woman “what do you want it to be”. It’s neither a house of brands or a branded house. A little congruency please.
