Breakfast is covered already. A bunch of work was mixed up with a lunch with one of the best women in my life, Anna. Fantastic Anna. She works at OSM and spoke the following line over some Sushi: “But Johan, you’ve always been this way…”. I thought about it for a while and decided to take it as a compliment. (We used to go out when we were fifteen).
Fashion week mandatories had me walking over to Berns eventually. “Hope” was the first show. Fairly good, but somewhat bland. The show had cool elements, like lasers, but didn’t quite pull together as one symphony. It felt fragmented.
Hope was all right, but it got us tired, and we went down to the 2.35.1 club lounge to get some rest.
With a boost of new energy our party took off looking for the MiniMarket-show, and ended up at the Velour-one. It was pretty much exactly what one would expect from them, but it was all right. At least I managed to capture an ex-girlfriend of mine in a frame. Can you spot her?
Carl and Kaj took off to take care of some kind of business, while me and Saurabh stayed for the MiniMarket show. And THAT was good. My favorite show this far. No men’s collection, but really nice and very wearable cuts. Good stuff.
On the way to the Whyred show, we bailed out and took off for some steak sandwiches at Tranan. Very well needed.
Then we went home… but wait… mid escalator there was a call…
– Come to the Dagens Media thing on Anglais.
Well… okay. I was back in business.
This is when the batteries went dead, and the picture below from Anglais is the last one from the evening. That was a shame. More things were about to go down…
Anglais was followed by a quick sushi-pit stop at East before we headed over to Allmäna Galleriet for the +46-fashion awards party. It was actually really cool, with a bunch of great people and a strange but awesome live fashion performance installation. Doom-style. I really wish I had some pics to show you, but as you know… no battery.
After a night like this one, I just couldn’t believe my eyes when realizing I got home at eleven thirty. Like traveling through time. Wow.
