Digital. What kind of word is that. Everything is digital these days. In fact, things that are not digital are often very lifestyle oriented – vinyl records, morning paper (with obligatory steaming coffee), cameras with film in them.
I feel that for a lot of agencies, digital is what things are. So when we say digital agency, what do we really mean? Web agency? What does that mean then? It could be everything from a pure production company to a pure content company.
Inventing new words is a hassle. Using a new word is just not practible. The whole point of the word is not having to explain it right? It’s frustrating.
